Police identify man killed by train in Brant
A man killed by a train in Brant last weekend was identified as a Lackawanna resident.
Douglas Block, 27, of Palm Street, died when he was hit by an eastbound CSX train late Saturday afternoon. The accident happened on a bridge near Snows Marina in Brant.
A wallet was found in a car parked near the scene, Erie County sheriff's deputies said, but they had wanted to confirm the victim's identity through dental records.
